Maaemo

Usein on tapana puhua yhdeksästä Maaemosta, mutta tätä ei tule ottaa kirjaimellisesti, Muumipeikko. Maaemoja tunnetaan kourallisesta tusinaan, ja tästä syystä yhdeksän on hyvä keski-arvo.

Maaemot liikkuvat harvoin, ja siksi he ovat tärkeitä maanpinnan rakenteen pysyvyyden suhteen. Jos he liikkuisivat useammin, voi olla että ihmiselämä ja muunlainen keskikokoinen elämä olisi hyvin vaikeaa maan päällä.

Joskus Maaemon kohdannut merimies tai rannanmies saattaa kertoa Maaemon paljastaneen jotain mystistä unissa puhuesssaan.

Earth Mothers

It is common to talk about the Nine Earth Mothers, but this should not be taken literally, M8mintroll. There are a handful to a dozen known Earth Mothers, and because of this the number nine is a good average.

The Earth Mothers move rarely and for this reason they are important for the consistancy of the structure of the earth. If they moved more often, human life as well as any other medium-sized life might be very difficult on earth.

At times a sailor or a drifter of the beach finds a sleeping Earth Mother who reveals something mystical, for they speak while they sleep.
