Jättiläisluola

Kun kaivaa tarpeeksi syvälle, tai saapuu muilla keinoilla, pääsee jättiläisten luoliin. Nämä ovat jättiläisten alkuperäisiä kotiseutuja, ainakin siinä määrin kuin me voimme tietää heidän menneisyydestään.

Sanotaan että täällä jättiläiset nukkuvat pitkiä aikoja, kunnes päättävät käydä jossain, jättiläisasioilla. Heistä tiedetään hyvin vähän. Druideilla on heihin yhteys, mutta on arvoitus miten paljon druidit tietävät heistä.

Kuten muitakin olentoja, myös jättiläisiä on monia lajeja, tai ehkä he vain muuttavat muotoaan ja käyttäytymistään tullessaan eri ympäristöihin. Näistä ilmentymismuodoista tunnetaan taruissa ainakin maaemot ja maan päällä elävät jättiläiset.

Caves of the Giants

When you dig deep enough, or arrive by other means, you can access the caves of the giants. These are the homeland for them, as far as we can know about their past.

It is said that the giants sleep for long periods in these caves, until they decide to go somewhere on some giant business. Not much is known of them. The druids have a connection to them, but it is a mystery how much the druids know.

Just like other creatures, there are several species of giants, or they may possibly change their form and behavior when they come to a different environment. The different forms that are known from stories are at least Earth Mothers and the giants above ground.
